Prescription Refills
It is ideal that all prescriptions be refilled at the time of appointment. When coming for a visit, please review any medications you might need to be refilled so they may be refilled during the visit.
Please allow 48-72 hours for prescription requests. As of September 1st, 2021 Script Standard V2017071. Certain controlled medications need a new prescription each month, this is best requested through the NFPA Patient Portal. Please make sure to mention the pharmacy to which you would like the prescription sent. For all other medications, Please contact your local retail or your mail order pharmacy directly and a Refill Request will be sent to us electronically. This is the best way to assure the proper medication gets to the proper pharmacy. Requests can be done by calling your pharmacy by phone, and also most allow you to do it online. Both the phone number of the pharmacy and the Prescription Identification Number are on the bottle. |
