regularly scheduled appointments and office hours. Blood Work
If you require Blood Work for your visit, regardless of your insurance, please find a Quest Patient Service Center here in your area. These locations have not and will not being doing any COVID-19 Detection for Infection Testing. Please send a Message over the Portal or if need be call the office so we can make sure the orders are there for you. It is best to make an appointment at a Quest Service Center and send a Message over the Portal or if need be call the office so we can make sure your Blood Work Orders are there for you. A Quest Appointment or Walk-In should be at minimum 2-3 days prior to your Office Visit or TeleHealth Visit. Quest Diagnostics is offering a Peace of Mind Program: "If you need lab services not related to COVID-19 and you are 60 years of age or older, or have other conditions that put you at greater risk for COVID-19 Detection for Infection Testing, come to your nearby Quest location during the first hour of each day for VIP care through our new Peace of Mind program." Office Visits Office Visits are continuing as schedule. It is well worth the trip to find a Quest Patient Service Center for Blood Work needs. Office Visits can now be made into a TeleHealth Visit for the duration of this crisis. It is best to make an appointment at a Quest Service Center and send a Message over the Portal or if need be call the office so we can make sure your Blood Work Orders are there for you. A Quest Appointment or Walk-In should be at minimum 2-3 days prior to your Office Visit or TeleHealth Visit. Patient Portal Registration with an email address is required to begin using the NFPA Patient Portal. You may register here or by clicking the Patient Portal button in the menu bar at the top of the page. You will receive an email once registration is complete and you will be able to login, setup your password and complete the verification steps. There is no additional charge for the use of the NFPA Patient Portal. The NFPA Patient Portal will allow you to send messages to the practice without the need to make a phone call. This is the preferred method to contact the practice. Questionnaires will also be available for Physicals and Comprehensive Examinations which you will be able to complete prior to our visit. You will no longer need to fill out paperwork in the office prior to your visit. We will be expanding Questionnaire in the future to other visits. TeleHealthVisit (THV) Your regularly scheduled Office Visit can be changed to a Telehealth Visit for the duration of this crisis. Insurance is covering these visits during this Essential Services period. It is well worth the trip to find a Quest Patient Service Center for Blood Work needs. PLEASE NOTE Devices: A device with a camera and microphone is needed for a TeleHealth Visit. It is best conducted using an up to date browser. Google Chrome has had the best results also and up to date browser such as Safari and Mozilla Firefox will work. For devices, such as phones and tablets, it is best to join the TeleVisit from the link sent in the TeleHealth Appointment Confirmation. PLEASE NOTE Desktops & Laptops: A computer with a camera and microphone is needed for a TeleHealth Visit. It is best conducted using an up to date browser. Google Chrome has had the best results on a desktop, laptop and up to date browser such as Safari and Mozilla Firefox will work. You may also join from the link sent in the TeleHealth Appointment Confirmation. Make sure your browser and computer are compatible prior to requesting a THV by logging into the NFPA Patient Portal and in the left menu select Medical Records > Telehealth Compatibility. Please read the frequently asked questions and information regarding THV on the page. Seeing your physician, refilling your prescriptions and routine testing is essential for your health. It is important to not let this crisis disrupt the progress you have made for your health maintenance needs and treatments. In the coming weeks and months appointments may become difficult to attain.
