We are located at 1410 Highland Ave Ste 202, Needham, MA 02492. The entrance to the building is in the rear, there is also ample parking in the rear of the building as well as designated accessible parking spaces, and also curb access to accommodate wheelchairs, strollers and rolling walkers. and there is an elevator to the second floor..
Do you accept my insurance?
NFPA accepts almost all insurances. We will work with you as best we can to accommodate your insurance plans if we do not already accept it.
Can I be a patient without Health Insurance?
Yes. NFPA does participate in what is know as, "Direct Care". Although most people have some type of Health Insurance, there are situations and times when Health Insurance is not an option and we will do our best to accommodate you based upon the level of care you need.
How do I get NFPA Patient Portal access?
You must register and Opt In to the NFPA Patient Portal. You may do so on the Portal page of needhamfamilypractice.com.
Do I need a NFPA Patient Portal account?
Although not required, access to the NFPA Patient Portal will allow for you and the practice to have more flexibility in communication and for you and the practice to not be tied to the telephone and routine office hours by sending a Message over the NFPA Patient Portal. Messages over the NFPA Patient Portal are only monitored during routine office hours.
What can I do over the NFPA Patient Portal?
You are able to send Messages, as well as receiving appointment reminders via email, fill out a questionnaire prior to you visit, view your statement, pay your bill via credit card, and access some medical information. Messages over the NFPA Patient Portal are only monitored during routine office hours. Please note in an emergency you should call 911.
Is there a charge for the NFPA Patient Portal?
No. There is no charge to Opt In and access the NFPA Patient Portal. You can register on the Portal page.
What about having my Blood Work done prior to my visit?
We highly recommend you find Quest Diagnostics Patient Service Center location in your areahere. The practice sends lab orders and receives results back electronically from Quest. Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Needham and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center does not receive orders nor send results electronically with the practice.
I have an Office Visit scheduled, can I make a TeleHealth Visit?
During COVID An Office Visit and TeleHealth Visit are interchangeable. Post COVID it dependent on your health insurance company and whether they cover TeleHealth visits.They are conducted over a Patient Portal as with the NFPA Patient Portal.
Can I have a TeleHealth Visit for a Same Day Appointment
Yes. A Same Day Appointment and TeleHealth Visit are interchangeable.
It is best to be registered for the NFPA Patient Portal so when you need a Same Day Appointment it can be made conveniently and easily.

2-Email: You may join directly (no login) from the link sent in your TeleHealth Appointment Confirmation.
3-NFPA Patient Portal:Log into the NFPA Patient Portal and click on "Join TeleVisit" in your appointment box.
