Appointments
We ask your cooperation in coming 10-20 minutes prior to your appointment time to allow proper time for an Assessment and so your visit can begin at your appointment time.
Office hours are by appointment only to permit the most personalized care possible to a large number of patients with a minimal waiting period. Appointments for routine physicals are best scheduled well in advance in order to obtain the most convenient time for all. Missed Appointments Please let us know if you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment. We require 24 hours notice for a Canceled or Rescheduled Appointment, otherwise a charge will be made. For 2023 the charge without 24 hours notice is: $10 TeleHealth Visit, $25 Same Day Appointment, $50 Office Visit and $80 for a Comprehensive or Physical Exam. Please be courteous enough to cancel in advance if you will not be keeping an appointment, lest the time not be lost for a sick patient in need of care. If you arrive late for an appointment and are unable to be seen a Missed Appointment Fee will be charged. As a patient of Needham Family Practice Associates you agree to abide by the appointment polices in accordance the type of insurance you may have. |
Same Day and Urgent Care Appointments
Needham Family Practice for over 40 years has always had Same Day Appointments for patients. We try to leave time open each day to see patients who require Urgent Care which must be seen that day, and of course we will see emergencies any time. If you are waiting while an emergency patient is being treated, your patience is appreciated, keeping in mind that one day you might be in need of such care with urgent problems.

Annual Physical or Annual Wellness Exam
Your visit scheduled as an “Annual Physical” or “Annual Wellness Exam” and does not require a co-payment under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.
For your convenience, your Provider may treat you for a medical condition during your “Annual Physical” or “Annual Wellness Exam”. This saves you from having to make several trips to our office. As a result, a co-payment or deductible may be required by your insurance company if discussions beyond preventative care occur. Some examples of this are as follows: -Your Provider needs to change your medication or orders tests to deal with Pre-Existing chronic problems, and/or -Your Provider treats you for any NEW problems you are currently experiencing. For questions related to your benefit coverage and co-payments, please reach out directly to your insurance company. Our office collaborates with many health insurance carriers and we do not know what benefits you may qualify for under your particular plan. |
